Why I Serve

Hello, my name is Zach Van Emmerik. I was born and raised in Davis County and have proudly called it home for most of my life. I have been a lifelong Republican, deeply committed to the values that make our community strong—service, integrity, accountability, and personal responsibility.

After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where I served in the infantry and learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Those lessons guided me throughout my life and my career in public service.
